Kyle grew up in Washington State and attended Seattle Pacific University, receiving a BA in Communication with a minor in Philosophy. After graduating, Kyle and his wife Amy worked as assistant cruise directors and traveled the world together. Upon arriving back stateside, Kyle launched into the marketplace. He worked as a director of operations for two years in a start-up, an account executive for a leadership development company, and a vendor in HR at Microsoft. Kyle then received a call from the Lord to step into full-time ministry as a Jr. High Youth Pastor at Crossroads Bible Church. During youth ministry, Kyle began working towards his MA in Pastoral Studies from Multnomah Biblical Seminary. However, with only a few classes left, he had to step out of his MA program because the Lord was leading him and his family to overseas missions.

For six years, Kyle served as a missionary with Josiah Venture. His first year on the field was spent in Slovenia serving in local youth ministry. But God had different plans in store. The director of communication position opened up at the international headquarters of Josiah Venture, located in the Czech Republic, and it was clear that this was where God was leading him next. Kyle served in that role for five fulfilling years until the Lord led him back to serve as an executive pastor at his sending church, Crossroads Bible Church. During his time at Crossroads, he received his certification in church consulting and will graduate in Spring 2025 with his MA in Executive Leadership in Christian Ministry from Colorado Christian University.

Kyle currently resides on the Eastside of Seattle with his lovely wife, Amy, and their three boys.
